Refractive surgery
It is an optional operation aimed at achieving satisfactory vision without relying on glasses.

It can be done by laser or lens implantation.

Laser vision correction
It is either done with a custom prk surface laser
Or LASIK or FemtoLasik, and possible Femtosmile in certain cases.

The decision to perform the operation is subject to several things, including;
1. Spectacles measure visual acuity, safety and health of the eye, and that it is free from other causes of vision impairment.
2. The age stage and the needs required by each stage and their suitability with the job you are doing.
3. The nature of the personality and the expected results after the operation.

Correction by implanting lenses
A medical procedure that takes place if the standards of laser correction are not available with an urgent need to dispense with glasses or reduce dependence on them, but we can say that this type of correction should not be expanded except after careful examination and consultation with the attending physician to settle on the appropriate procedure

IOL implants are either primary or secondary to a phakic IOL

Phakic IOLs are ideal for young people
Like Iris claw lens anterior cabinet or posterior cabinet lenses like ICL lenses
And the primary lenses are by replacing the eye’s crystalline lens with another lens, as is the case in cataract removal operations
It is recommended when cataracts occur, especially after reaching the age of forty.
